Dang. Three years already? An insane amount of beer imbibed, numerous festivals visited, a gang of folks in the business interviewed and beer events participated and arranged. What started out as my little personal notebook for tasting notes has grown into a passion and commitment. I love craft beer and the people putting their ideas, sweat and tears into this thing we call the Revolution. You’re awesome.
Three years ago I took my first staggering steps, writing a review for Brouwerij DeMolen OpTop, today I sneak-peek Mikkeller Bars in Bangkok. My parallel passion for photography has grown into a must and whenever out hunting for a story, my Nikon’s always with me. Last year I had my first photo exhibition at the Magnolia Beer Festival(Link). Such a rewarding, such a memorable event.
So what’s with all the nostalgia?
Like they always do, things come to a change. I’ve been offered to write for the Number 1 Food Magazine in Sweden – AlltOmMat.se. Many things stay the same. I’m still 99 Bottles. You’ll just find my writing and photography at blogg.alltommat.se/99bottles from here on.
So what can you expect from this move? Well, I’ll be posting a lot more frequently, that’s for sure. More beer, more words, more photos, more love and more languages. Yes the blog will be bilingual, written in both Swedish and English. The new platform also will give me a chance to communicate with you guys and girls plus a whole new and bigger crowd. A great opportunity to spread the craft beer gospel even further down the road.
A big thank you and shout out goes to Joao Neves and Cory Smith for their tremendous contributions in stories, imagery, support and great insight throughout the journey. Without you it wouldn’t have been the same.
From now on 99bottles.se will seize being the active platform, but I’ll continue to answer any comments or questions. The Facebook Page will continue to be a great place to meet and have a chat. I’m still chirping away at Twitter. Hey, I might even start posting photos to Instagram. Don’t tell anyone about it though…
